These are a very rich treat, if you want to go for a much cleaner option, just omit the dark chocolate on top and make your own raw version!!
You will need the following ingredients:
1 cup of natural peanut butter
1/2 cup cacao
1/4 cup of honey
1 cup of coconut oil
Pinch of Himalayan salt
3 cups of puffed rice (not rice bubbles)
1 cup of dessicated coconut
1 cup of chopped raw peanuts
extra crushed peanuts for topping
200 grams melted dark chocolate with 1 tbs of coconut oil mixed in
In a saucepan over a medium heat combine, peanut butter, cacao,honey coconut oil and salt, until all melted and combined, remove from heat.
In a bowl add your puffed rice, nuts, and coconut and stir, add your melted ingredients and combine well. Pour into a lined 8″x8″ tin, place in fridge until set about 30 – 45 minutes…
Melt dark chocolate and coconut oil together , spread over your crackle base, and sprinkle with nuts. Return to fridge to set.
It is best to use a warm knife to cut through slice into desired pieces….Slice needs to be stored in fridge!!!
You don’t even need to add the chocolate on top that is totally optional
